Die Healing Balm is seker een van die beste produkte wat nog op die mark beskikbaar is. ‘n Vriendin het vir my 'n buisie van die Healing Balm gegee, en soos 'n mens maar is, het ek gedink dit is weer nog 'n salf soos al die ander in my medisyne kas. Dit was nie lank nadat ek die salf gekry het nie dat my jongste seun met 'n skeur tussen sy tone by die huis kom nie. Dit was rooi en die vel was besig om af te gaan en hy het gekla dit is seer. Ons stel die salf op die proef en wraggies dit werk na net twee dae is daar 'n noeminswaardige verskil en dank vader dit het heeltemal gesond geword. Ons gebruik dit vir enige seerplek, brandplek, skaafplek en jy sal my seker nie glo nie, maar my een hondjie het 'n lelike verharding op haar boudjie gekry en sy het dit stukkend geskuur, ek het die salf op die plek gesmeer en tot dit het genees.

Ons seuntjie hondjie is ook lief om die dogtertjie hondjie se ore te lek, en dan raak haar oortjies baie rooi en skurf, dan jeuk haar oortjies baie, ek gebruik die salf vir haar oortjies en dit werk soos 'n bom. Ek sorg nou dat daar oorals 'n houer van die salf is - in die motor, in my handsak, by die kantoor in my naaldwerksak en in my bedkassie. Julle het 'n treffer hier en ons Steenkamps wens vir julle baie geluk met 'n wenner soos min.

Hi Louise,

I would like to share my experience with the "Snappi Healing Balm" with you.
My 5 month old baby gets a nappy rash on the odd occasion, a few weeks ago, she had a very acidic poo nappy, which burnt her tender bum really badly. It was red and swollen and I could see that she was in so much discomfort. After her bath, I applied the Healing Balm to the affected area. The next morning, when she woke up, I changed her nappy, and to my delight, there was not a sign of the rash. Now, I apply the Healing Balm after every bath, and she has not had a single red bum since!

Furthermore, I have found that the Healing Balm works absolute WONDERS for any bruising! I have a very active 2 and a half year old who is permanently full of bumps and bruises, applying the Healing Balm, decreases the severity of the bruising instantly and it definitely helps up the healing process. She fell the other day and got a nice big bump on her forehead, I applied the Healing Balm and the next morning, the bump was practically gone and there was no bruising
whatsoever!

I love the Healing Balm and I give a tube to every one of my friends at their baby showers. This is definitely a product that every mother should have in their home!

Dear Snappi,

I would like to thank you for a fantastic product – your Healing Balm is just so wonderful!
My three year old little boy has eczema, and I find that the Healing Balm soothes his skin. I like the fragrance, and texture. I am just so grateful to have found a product which helps without burning him.

Please let me know where I can purchase another tube, as we bought the first two from baby shows.

I would like to compliment you on your healing balm / bum cream.

I have used all the creams I received on my baby shower as well as your healing balm and I must say, nothing compares to your product!!

I ran out of healing balm a while ago and had to use another product. With in a few days, my little girl had burning bums. Every time when I apply the other product on, it burns her. When I apply your Healing Balm, it soothes and heals those poor little bums.

Dis wonderlike goed die! Om nie eers van die diens te praat nie. My dogtertjie se boudtjies was so gebrand dat ek nie eers daaraan kon vat nie. Dit was 'n groot storie om te bad of om selfs net 'n doek om te ruil. Ek het van Snappi gehoor en dit dadelik probeer.

Ek kon die verbetering die volgende dag sien, en binne dae was die brand boude iets van die verlede. Sederdien vertel ek vir almal van Snappi.

Dis goed en goedkoop ('n kwart van die prys van die vorige product wat ek gebruik het)

I bought a tube of Snappi Healing Balm from your store at the Baby Indaba, Nasrec. I have a problem with eczema on my right hand and the lady at the show assured me that the healing balm would help with my eczema, so I bought a tube with the thought "I may as well give it a chance as I have tried every other cream on the market but........" the rest is history.

To my surprise Snappi Healing Balm actually helped and every time I am stressed, the eczema rears its ugy head, not a problem, out comes the S.H.B. (fondly named) and no more embarrassing personal and public moments.

Summer has eventually arrived in South Africa and the summer shoes are out in full force, but I suffer from very dry heals and carry a tube of cream which I apply intermittently during the day. I decided to try Snappi Healing Balm on my heals one morning and now I apply S.H.B. in the morning and do not give my heals another thought. Once again, dry heals is somthing of the past.
I wear my sandals and summer shoes with confidence.

Thank you very much for introducing me to SNAPPI HEALING BALM, not only is babies bums soothed/healed by "S.H.B." so is my hands and heals.

I am writing to comment on one of your products.

After attempting to walk on rocks to get to shore in Mozambique, I managed to slice the underneath of my feet open in several places. The only thing I had with me was your Healing Balm, as there are no shops in the area we were in. After scrubbing the wounds (full of mud and grime), I applied the Healing Balm and covered my feet with bandages.
I was very worried about infection, as we had to walk in mud every day.
My feet healed beautifully. It is almost a month later, and there are hardly any scars even.
I now keep a tube of your Healing Balm with me, wherever I go, and recommend it to everyone I know.

1. Set an example – by washing your hands in front of your little one, and telling them why you need to do so after toilet trips, before eating, after playing with animals or in the garden etc., you will encourage them to do the same.
2. Make hand washing time fun – teach children to sing the alphabet song twice while washing, so that they realise that they can’t merely rinse hands under the tap quickly.
3. Use a magnifying glass to show children the dirt under their nails, on their palms etc. and then explain that even when their hands may look clean - germs are nasty, invisible creatures that only soap or a hand sanitiser can kill.
4. Children love to use fresh smelling hand sanitisers. Make it a habit to keep a bottle of sanitiser in your handbag, and encourage little ones to use it. Snappi Sanitising Gel has a lovely baby fragrance, that kids love. Tip: Escalators are usually the dirtiest surface in a mall.
5. Ensure that children can reach the sink – invest in a step if necessary. Children like to be independent, and this will encourage them to wash more often.
6. Encourage children to smell their hands after washing and sanitising, nothing beats a nice clean, fresh smell.
7. Use terms like “you are a big girl / big boy to wash your hands properly”, boosting their self confidence.
8. “Pretend” sneeze into your hands, then ask your child if they would like to shake hands with you. The answer will be “no”. Then wash your hands, and ask your child if they will shake hands with you now. Then remind your child that people won’t tell him / her what they have been touching all day, which is why he / she should was their hands regularly.
9. Paint finger paint all over your child’s hands. These are the invisible germs. Then allow your child to wash his / her hands thoroughly, noting how long it takes to be rid of all the paint.

With the CDC in the US reporting that 80% of all infections are transmitted by hands, and with children being in such close proximity to one another at school – sharing snacks, toys etc., washing hands is an important germ fighting tool.

1. Check your baby’s nappy often, and change as soon as the nappy is wet or soiled.
   
2. Carefully clean your baby’s bottom with warm (not hot) water.
3. Allow baby’s skin to dry completely before putting the next nappy on.
4. Use a product that contains Zinc Oxide (like Snappi Healing Balm) to protect baby’s skin from moisture.
5. Nappy rash can be caused by a fungus or bacteria. Ensure that your nappy rash cream contains anti-fungal and anti-bacterial ingredients. Snappi healing Balm contains Peruvian Balsalm, which is a natural anti-fungal, anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory ingredient.
